Generally, Upper left side of stomach swollen can be related to:

  • Adult Still's Disease

    A rare systemic inflammatory disease characterized by high fevers, a pink rash, sore throat and body aches that persist for weeks. The exact cause is unknown but is thought to be triggered by an infection. Some patients will have only one episode of it, while others may have several recurrent episodes.

  • Multiple Myeloma (MM)

    This is a cancer of a type of white blood cell in the blood, called a plasma cell. Cancerous cells multiply and "crowd out" other healthy, normal cells. Risk factors include positive family history, older age, and male sex. Symptoms include fatigue, bone pain, weight loss, and inability to fight infections.
