Euphoria describes the experience of pleasure or intense feelings of happiness. Extreme happiness and an elevated sense of well-being. An exaggerated degree of euphoria that does not reflect the reality of one’s situation is common in manic episodes and hypomanic episodes of Bipolar Disorder.
